-The active components present in bilberries are flavonoids (water-soluble pigments), in particular the anthocyanosides. Bilberry has antioxidant properties and is useful for eyestrain, infections and other eye conditions Bilberry also has vascular-stabilising activity, may lower blood sugar levels, and can be used for several gastrointestinal conditions
One tablet provides:
Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) extract
equivalent to 500mg
Recommended:
One to three tablets per day with a meal.
